Michele Ari wins Moray Firth Radio Showcase!

We are delighted to announce that on 3 June, 2007 Michele Ari won the 1107am Moray Firth Radio Shandy Showcase by collecting an incredible 100% of the votes!

The showcase puts two unsigned artists in a head to head competition where the listeners decide the winner. Promoted as "the biggest and best talent" the show had to date, by host Jason Shand, her track My Sleeping Beauty, from her critically acclaimed debut release 85th and Nowhere, was played alongside another unsigned artist and the people spoke LOUD and CLEAR about what they wanted to hear!

Across the United Kingdom people called, sent emails and text messages casting their votes for Ari. Ari's winner takes all showing has only happened once before in the history of the show. The prize was four more nights of airplay for Ari on Shand's show which caused a flurry of activity on her My Space and other websites.
