How can I Discover Music on Arkade?
To discover music on Arkade, click 'Discover Music' in the toolbar across the top of the page.
If you want browse the site by track names instead of artists, click on the 'by track' Radio Button at the top of the page.
If you know which type of music you are looking for, you can narrow down the search by selecting a genre from the drop-down menu.
Click 'PLAY' to stream tracks of your chosen genre.
To browse through a list of all the artists and tracks on Arkade, click on any letter from the alphabet that has appeared near the top of the page to list all artists (or tracks) whose name starts with that letter. For more information on any artist or track listed simply click the on the name.
How can I Search for Music and Artists on Arkade?
Click the 'Search Music and Artists' button in the toolbar across the top of the page and click 'Search' to see a list of all tracks on Arkade.
If you want to search for a specific Artist, Track, Producer, etc enter the details in the fields provided under each category (e.g. Artist's name, Track name, Producer). To specify the genre or mood of music you are looking for click on the word 'any' next to that category and select from the drop-down menu to make your choice.
Select from the drop-down menu in the 'Result Format' category to choose whether you want to search for Artist name, Track name or Bundle.
Click the 'Search' button at the bottom of the page and the results of your search will be displayed. Simply click on any item in that list and you will be taken to the appropriate page.
If you still can't find what you are looking for click the 'Refine Search' link at the top of the list and try changing the details you entered, then click 'search' again.
TIP: For the best chance of finding what you want, only fill-in the categories that you are sure of. You can leave the rest blank.
How can I Search for FREE Downloads on Arkade?
Click the 'Free Download Search' in the toolbar across the top of the page and click 'Search' to see a list of all FREE tracks on Arkade.
If you want to search for a specific Artist, Track, Producer, etc enter the details in the fields provided under each category (e.g. Artist's name, Track name, Producer). How can I View the Charts?
Keep up to date with who's hot and who's not on Arkade by checking the latest Charts. Click the 'Charts' button in the toolbar across the top of the page.
Select which chart you want to view by clicking one of the links that have appeared on the left side of the page.
Once your selected chart is displayed you can click on any of the Artists' names or Track titles to visit the relevant page.
TIP: If you know which type of music you are looking for you can narrow down the search by clicking the 'Genre' button at the top of the page. Select from the drop-down menu to choose the desired music genre.
NOTE: Charts are updated every Thursday at 12 noon.
What are the benefits of registering with Arkade?
Registering with Arkade is FREE.
When you register with Arkade you will be able to:
- Purchase Tracks and Bundles from Arkade Artists.
- Download any free tracks Arkade Artists offer.
- Join Arkade Artists' mailing lists.
- Contact Arkade Artists via their contacts page.
- Submit comments to Arkade Artists' blogs.
- Submit comments on Arkade Artists' tracks.
- Rank Arkade Artists' tracks.
- Embed Arkade Artist's widgets on your own web site(s) and stream their tracks and videos.
How do I Register with Arkade?
Registering with Arkade is FREE.
Register with Arkade.com to allow you to download tracks, purchase other products from Artists on Arkade, join the mailing list of your favourite Artists and use Arkade Artist's widgets to stream their track on your own web site(s). You may also receive other benefits from registering with us, such as up to the minute information on exciting new music, products and events, if you want it!

Click 'Register' on the top left panel of the arkade home page and provide a valid email address and enter a username and password of your choice in the boxes provided. Click 'Submit'
A confirmation email will be sent to you with an email validation link.

Validate your email address by following the instructions in the email that you will receive.
This is an important security feature of the site; Arkade needs to ensure that all correspondence is sent to the right email address and importantly to verify any transactions for Artist's downloads and merchandise.
A confirmation email will be sent to you with your login details.
If you want to include your password in the log-in confirmation email, check the box 'Include password in my confirmation email'.

Complete your registration by filling in the details on the Registration Details page and click 'Continue'.
NOTE: You can see and update your Registration Details at any time.
All Users must agree the Arkade: Consumer Terms and Conditions. Check the 'I accept' check box and then click 'Continue'.
Your account is now ready for use.
As an Arkade Registered User you may now access all the site's features.
Browse the free downloads area and be sure to contact artists you like using the Artist's Contact page. They need your support and there's no better way of doing that than joining their mailing lists or buying their products. Artists on Arkade receive 100% of the price they set for all product sales, so buy with confidence, knowing the proceeds are going to them.

NOTE: if you're a music maker or represent other music makers, we'd be delighted to have you on the site... simply click the 'Create an Artist Site' button which you will find on the home page once you have logged in. Creating a site on Arkade is easy and the online User Guide will help you every step of the way.
How do I Login on Arkade?
As a registered user of Arkade.com you can access the full range of features available on the site, and you will be able to download tracks.
To begin your session, click the 'Login' button at the top left hand side of the page.
Enter your username or email address and password in the appropriate spaces and then click 'Login'.
TIP: If you have forgotten your password you can click on the 'Forgotten your password' link and a new password will be sent to your registered email address.
How does the Shopping Cart Checkout work on Arkade?
Once you have added to your shopping cart the items you want and are ready to make your purchase, select 'Checkout' on the left panel below your cart.
On the Confirm Order page, you will be asked you to check that the items in your cart are those that you wish to purchase. If you click on the product name, the item's details will be displayed including the Track Download Specs for tracks. These are the same as uploaded by the Artist.
To ensure the security of your card details, Arkade has teamed up with an experienced payment processor PayPal. Arkade never sees your card details.
You will be presented with a Payment Success page, which means your payment was successful and you can now use the 'go to downloads' link to download your music. However, if for some reason your payment was not accepted, you will be shown the Payment Declined page which will prompt you to go back and review the card details you have entered.
NOTE REGARDING CURRENCIES: (normally you will not need this feature)
The prices for products on Arkade are displayed in your preferred currency – see Multi Currency.
You can change your preferred currency at any time; in addition, you can choose the currency you wish to make any transaction in during the checkout process.
How do I collect my Downloads from Arkade?
You can collect any downloads that you have ordered by clicking 'Download Collection' in your My Account sub-menu. Log-in and click 'MY ACCOUNT'.
Click on 'Download' next to the purchased item, the MP3 will be downloaded to your computer in a ZIPPED file format.
IMPORTANT: you have 28 days from the date of purchase to download your music, after which time they will be removed from the area of the site reserved for 'Downloads waiting to be collected'.
What am I Buying?
Arkade is a service which offers Artists the opportunity to preview, stream and sell their music directly to people like you!
You will receive a download of the track in an MP3 file format, perfect for use on your iPod or your PC.
NOTE: When you buy a download on Arkade, you are buying a track owned by the Artist from the Artist. Artists receive 100% of the price they set for their tracks.
NOTE: The download MP3 format is chosen by the Artist. Track Download Specs are displayed on the Track Details page of each track.
IMPORTANT: You can only use the tracks you download from Arkade for your own personal use. You can copy them onto your other devices (mobile phone, laptop, iPad, etc), but you cannot give the tracks to your friends or relatives. This would be cheating the Artist who has invested considerable time, effort & money in making the recording and is strictly illegal.
Are my Card Details secured?
To ensure the security of your card details, Arkade has teamed up with the reputed payment processor, Paypal. Arkade never sees your card details.
What Transaction Charges are added to the prices Artists set for their products?
Arkade Artists receive 100% of the price they set for their tracks and products.
Transaction charges are applied by the transaction processor Paypal. To see the current Paypal processing charges go to: www.paypal.com
How Can I use the tracks I download from Arkade?
You can only use the tracks you download from Arkade for your own personal use. You can copy them onto your other devices (mobile phone, laptop, iPad, etc), but you cannot give the tracks to your friends or relatives. This would be cheating the Artist who has invested considerable time, effort & money in making the recording and is illegal.
Where are my personal details stored?
You can see and update your Registration Details at any time. Log-in and click 'MY ACCOUNT' in the top left panel.
- You can see and update your Personal Details at any time by clicking 'User Details' in your My Account sub-menu.
- Click 'Update' to save any changes.
IMPORTANT: Changes to your email address will not be accepted until the new email address has been validated. Once the new address has been entered, click 'Update' and a validation email will be sent to the address you have entered. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the validation process.
IMPORTANT: Please validate your email address within by following the instructions in the email that you will receive.
NOTE: This is an important security feature of the site - Arkade needs to make sure that all correspondence is sent to the right email address and importantly to verify any transactions for downloads and merchandise.
- If you chose to validate using the validation code provided in the email, click on the link and enter your email address and validation code in the boxes provided and click continue.
Can I Change My Password?
You can change your password at any time by clicking 'Change Password' in your My Account sub-menu. Log-in and click 'MY ACCOUNT'.
- Enter the old password that you want to change.
- Enter the new password you have chosen. Re-enter the new password you have chosen (to help avoid errors)
- To include your password in the Password Change Confirmation email click on the check box.
- Click 'Continue' to save any changes.
You will be sent an email, subject: 'Arkade: Your Password Has Been Changed' including your new password if you requested it.
IMPORTANT: If you receive this email and you did not initiate a password change, please contact support@arkade.com immediately and type 'UNAUTHOURISED PASSWORD CHANGE' in the subject header.
Can I track the status of my merchandise purchases?
You can track the status of any Artist's merchandise (CDs, T-shirts, etc) that you have ordered, by clicking 'Order Tracking' in your My Account sub-menu. Log-in and click 'MY ACCOUNT'.
How do I see My Messages?
You can see any messages for you, by clicking 'My messages' in your My Account sub-menu. Log-in and click 'MY ACCOUNT'.
Messages can be from Arkade Administration or replies from Artists that you have contacted via the Artist's Contact Page.
How does Multi-Currency work on Arkade?
Arkade currently supports the following currencies:
- GBP (£): Pounds Sterling - used in UK
- EUR (€): Euro - used in most of Europe
- JPY (¥): Yen - used in Japan
- USD ($): US Dollars - used in USA & rest of world
- At registration the system detects the user's country of origin through their IP address and automatically sets the user's appropriate preferred currency as GBP £, USD $, EUR € or YEN ¥.
- Users can change their preferred currency on their 'My Account/User Details' page, using the 'Preferred Currency' drop down menu.
- For any transaction on Arkade, users are provided with an option to edit either permanently or just for the transaction in progress, their preferred currency on the 'Confirm Order' page as part of the check out procedure, before completing the transaction.
- All products displayed on the Artists' Music and Merchandise Pages are priced in the user's preferred currency.
- The individual price for each product added to the shopping cart and the checkout process are displayed in the user's preferred currency.
- All emails sent to consumers detailing product purchase transactions (digital and physical) display all prices in the currency selected by the user to complete the transaction.
- Ticket prices displayed on the Artists' Events page will be displayed in the currency selected by the Artist.
How do I Create an Artist Site on Arkade?
Creating an Artist Site on Arkade is very straightforward and the online User Guide will help you every step of the way.
- Register with Arkade.
- Click 'Create an Artist Site' on the Arkade Home Page after you log in.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions for Subscribers.
- Choose an Artist Name.
- Select the Arkade Subscriber Pack Option that's right for you.
- Checkout in the normal way.
Your Artist Site is ready for you to populate with your content.
