West was born the surviving twin on Sunday night the 21st of February in Port Elizabeth - Nelson Mandela Metropole in South Africa. He is a graduate in Multi Media Fine Art & Design with over 50 public exhibitions & installations to his credit, served on the PE Interim Cultural Council & he was the founder member of BAWART, AIM & the Mmabatho Music Alliance - MMA. All the available mediums that contributed to the making of works of fine art, film & music are the tools with which West explores the realms of originality.

The Shanty Star Collection 1.1 - Opportunity for a dream… was created from 40 performer recordings in Nkanini, Joe Slovo, Masiphumelele, Red Hill, Mandela Park, Missionvale & Walmer shack communities.
