Their unique brand of energetic dance-indie-pop has been filtering across the UK from Rebus HQ in Reading, with recent support slots to the Ordinary Boys, S*M*A*S*H, Sway and The Infadels amongst others. With headline shows including the Water Rats (including a Reading music showcase) & the Marquee, plus appearances at the Tiscali Showcase at the Islington Academy, and tours up and down the country, word is spreading.
With both their releases (self released single “Daylight Fading” & “The Red EP” ) receiving airplay on Radio1 / BBC 6Music & XFM, their tastemaker supporters include Steve Lamacq, Bloc Party (Alex Rebus is personally thanked in their album sleeve), The Cooper Temple Clause, DrownedInSound, XFM’s John Kennedy & The Sun newspaper.
Their track ‘Work Song’ has also been snapped up as the soundtrack for Vodafone’s 3G service and national advertising campaign. A clip of the song can be heard by millions on the new television and cinema advert all over Europe.
