Michael Williams is a 20 year old singer songwriter based in the South East. He is currently breaking the boundaries of acoustic music using unique lyrical ideas, structures and chord inversions.

Michael is influenced by a wide range of artists but, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and Ben Folds Five are his main influences and can be heard within his sound.

Michael is currently forming his band, but has been developing his live performance through a number of gigs across the South East. He has already been playing respected venues such as Sound (London), Jooglebury Playhouse (Brighton), Jagz (Ascot), Western Front (Brighton) and The Providence (Brighton). Intricate guitar parts and rhythms mix with fresh lyrical ideas and pop melodies to form his sound. Elements of genres such as Funk, Hip Hop, Blues and Jazz also encompass his sound which can be unusual in acoustic music.
