Some very refreshing music has been emerging from the burgeoning Scottish jazz scene in recent years, with several bands and musicians gaining attention nationally and internationally. Energetic and eclectic trio Trianglehead have been kept rather under wraps, but through regular appearances at the legendary Henry’s Jazz Cellar in Edinburgh they have been building not just their musical language but a significant cult following in the city.

Now, with the release of their debut album Maths and an accompanying seven date Jazz Services tour, Kershaw, Harrison and Ritchie will bring their unique blend of sonic experimentation, free improvisation and joyous creative energy to audiences across the UK.
