THE FIREFLYS GO GLOBAL!!
The Fireflys will be having a live set broadcast to thousands over the internet thanks to legendary radio station AII RADIO. The gig will take place in Tranmeres " hotel california " on thursday 4th may,and the band will be broadcast from around 10:30pm.you can tune in at aiiradio.net,or see the band live,door prices are free before 10pm, but after its £3.Also in other FF news,the band are to start work this coming wednesday (26/04/06) on their new album "the warning bell", the band are hoping for an early summer release.


The Fireflys NEXT BIG THING?
The Fireflys are playing at the last of the current series of nights with wire f.m at the vue bar in widnes.the next big thing night will take place on wednesday april 19th,entry is free and showtime is 8.00pm.there is also talk of warped heading back into the studio to complete the long awaited album "the warning bell"it will be the first long-player since 2004s "the silent majority".
drummer Jonesy commented:"Its been ages since weve been in the studio and we have at least 15 new songs for this album,were looking forward to it,and we are in the stages of booking the studio,and finishing the album in early summer."

The Fireflys RECIEVE RAVE REVIEWS.
very good news this week as both "molotov rock" and "backbreaker" both recieved excellent reviews on the billy butler show on friday.liverpool music moguls Bobby Sox and Lyn Staunton gave the songs muchos praise to the songs live on air.Bobby commented that the songs were very "motorhead" and AC/DC-esq,while Lyn spoke about the tightness of the band and the well crafted structures of the songs.jonesy commented:"we were very nervous about it all,especially with us getting slated this time last year.we were very pleased with the interview and would like to thank BBC MERSEYSIDE for inviting us onto the show."
