Shut Up Marie's "Gimmie" CD was just reviewed in the prestigious Music Connection industry magazine based out of L.A., and here's what they had to say about it: "A full-length CD by this foursome bursts out of the starting blocks with “Broken,” a guitar-driven punk-influenced gallop that got our attention fast. Frontwoman Annette Marie’s chesty, melodic vocal power reigns over the song, whose dynamic tempo changes suggest it’s a great tune to perform live. This versatile band also have songs that change pace and style dramatically, such as the reggae-infused “Short Bus.” Terrific voice, crafty tunes."
