Thomas De Sardi is undoubtedly the best-known DJ and producer from Portugal. Born in Lisbon in 1954, this party king began his DJ career in 1984 in various clubs . At about the same time he completed training as a sound technician at the music college in Sintra. As a radio DJ , the official techno/house channel on Lisbon, he spread the up-to-the-minute club sound outside the clubs. In 1991 he got to know the Portuguese singer and dancer Ana Paula Soveral and appeared for the first time with her under the name Thomas De Sardi. A year later Sardi became resident DJ at the legendary Music Club in Madeira and together with Paula provided the hottest party nights on the island.
