Steve writes music with one aim in mind. It is not for playing in lifts. In fact, should he hear his music played in an elevator in a posh department store, he would be mildly upset. Not that he would mind the publicity of course, be he would feel that someone somewhere is missing the point. This is music to immerse yourself in and get psyched up to. That's what it means to him anyway.
