Neil Roston is a musician with a varied and rich musical past. His style is strongly influenced by blues music ranging from the root sounds of blues founders, pop blues, folk blues, and the electric blues. His music incorporates hints of rock and contemporary folk like singer/songwriter Ray Lamontagne. Other major influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Ray Charles, and Otis Redding.

Music is everything to Neil Roston……it is his happiness, pain, sorrow and pleasure. In 2005, he heard the music of Ray Lamontagne and was instantly drawn to Ray’s voice. It was a similar feeling he had when he first heard the guitar playing of Stevie Ray Vaughan 13 years earlier. Neil started singing & writing songs soon after hearing Lamontagne and has grown in leaps and bounds since taking that step forward in developing his music beyond that of the guitar.

He is inspired by music that conveys human emotion by the way the artist sings or plays an instrument. N
