Ernest Drake pays tribute to the fact that he didn`t invent the egg but pretty well knows how to throw some around. His inspirations range from early industrial culture to underground-hip-hop, noise/breakbeat to french house, early US-Hardcore to Dub.
Where some of the “dancefloor-punk”-acts haven`t got that much in common with the origins of punk and lose themselves in ranting on about dancing and sex, Drake still gets his portion of anger from looking ´round a bit more.
As is written on his first demotape: all distortion by intention - the compatibility with discotheques is there, but it is not overall. Nowadays Gucci-Punks will be sent back to their mommies...
