Music has the ability to soundtrack what would most commonly be called the "day-to-dayness" of life, in the same way that it does for a film. In this way, everything is transmuted into a piece of art. We look at art contextually, expecting to be moved by something beautiful, stimulating, and original. And often, in a museum of paintings, common environments and objects are subjects. Why are landscapes such favorite subjects for art?

-Observe carefully, and suddenly life becomes very novel.
