Rebel Red is the brainchild of "Sireen of Swamprock" Red, a multi-instrumentalist who is both recording engineer & record producer, a rarity among women in the music world.
While rehearsing at Baby Monster Studios in New York City, Red caught the ear of the studio owner, late guitarist/producer Steve Burgh, (Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Fishbone).
Burgh put Red together with a family of roots musicians, including guitarist Larry Campbell (Little Feat, Lyle Lovett, Levon Helm, Bob Dylan) & drummer Richard Crooks (Bob Dylan, Dr. John), with whom she recorded her following 4 cds.
