Mike Halliwell is a songwriter from Reading.
Previously involved in local bands, since 2001 Mike has been developing his own material and now performs and records with bassist and producer Matt Foster, drummer Adam Perry and with a group of musicians taken from the Reading live music scene.
Influences, which include artists such as Martin Grech, Jeff Buckley and Sparklehorse, and bands such as Six.by Seven and Mercury Rev, go some way to explain this musical direction but the list goes on.
Currently working on a full length album and building a live reputation, independent release of work in process are available from shows, their label website and Arkade.com.
