M.A.S.A.C.R.E. are the initials of a battle line in Spanish meaning Metal Moving Forward Upon Any Existing Rejection (Metal Avanzando Siempre Ante Cualquier Rechazo Existente). This Peruvian Metal Band rebelled against repression and adversity, and through their music, they are here to let us know that they will prevail and the human spirit will never be shut down.

From the original line up formed in the late 80s, only Coqui Tramontana (guitars) and Miguel Tuesta (bass) remain, and together with Martín Tuesta, guitarist until 2000, they are the cornerstone of the band. In 2000 the band recruited singer Omar Pizarro who brought fresh blood to the project and with him they completed their first studio album "Demoledor” (Demolisher).

With new members Jaqo Sangalli on guitar and Hans Menacho on drums they have released their newest CD "On The Warpath¨ which is even more powerful and heavier than before.
