Ecoute (pronounced 'Eh-Coot-Ay') are a five piece band from the Reading area. Their music is a disturbingly infectious fusion of guitar driven, groove based rock and melodic pop. The band have been together in one form or another since 2003. During their previous line up they have played live all around the south east of England, released a well received 3 track CD, set new records for boozing and have slowly built up a loyal following and good reputation around the local scene. 2006 has ushered in many changes for the band, as former lead guitarist Paul and bassist Ben were forced to leave the band after the little things in life such as work ballooned from being a small time distraction to a full time commitment. However, they eventually managed to discover James and yet another Ben. Ecoute have now released their latest EP "Tabula Rasa" and are going from strength to strength!
