Chaundia Brown spent three years as a member of “Uneek” - a female group that went on to record under Tyscott Records (Gospel). She was also a member of the cast for “Keep Your Head Up” the musical and has had the privilege to open up for Fred Hammond. Chaundria has also worked as a vocal producer on several projects, writing, arranging and laying background.

In 1994 she met Sean Puffy Combs and was offered a recording contract. She met a friend, Word Corbit, through Puffy, and he later became A&R person for Mercury Records. He made numerous attempts to use Chaundria on his projects and persuading her to record her own album. However, she declined. Around the same time she demoded material for Paul Boutte to be submitted for Angela Winbush’s album. That resulted in Island records wanting to meet her. Once again she declined. These were huge opportunities, but Chaundria felt that she wasn’t ready then....
