About Blackett
Born in North East England, Blackett attended the renowned Goldsmith College, London, known for producing a variety of artistic talent. Ranging from fashion designers Mary Quant and Vivien Westwood, through to the world of music with John Cale (founding member of the legendary Velvet Underground), Damon Albarn, Alex James and Graham Coxon from Blur, Blackett follows in a long line of auspicious talent. Determined to make her mark musically Hannah took herself on the road clocking up the miles, gigging regularly in the UK & Europe. This was to finally pay off when she was spotted by successful production duo, PoweRHousE, who subsequently began to work with her. The first recordings done with PoweRHousE brought attention initially from the music industry outside the UK, where she was doing the majority of her live shows. Now her talents are beginning to be recognised both in the UK and worldwide.
