John Russell; guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has fought his way through various musical avenues to finally end up yet again alone and has never looked back. Johns music demonstrates uplifting, melancholy acoustic tunes with a soulful and often dark edge. Critics have already described him as 'Cat Stevens meets Kiedis.' A fitting indication of the mix of influences which makes John Russell something special. Definitely one to keep an eye on in the coming months.

John has worked hard to perfect his unique sound creating instantly memorable songs combined with melodic choruses, and classic guitars. This is topped of with John's soulful, emotional and heartfelt vocals. John Russell is currently recording his debut album, entitled "Factory Fitted Love Songs" which is scheduled for release next summer.

In the meantime he will playing a series of dates around the midlands, as well as occasional shows in London in front of an ever-growing number of industry admirers!
