Relentless experimentation and determination to create anti-bubble gum art has helped Pictures of Then cultivate a largely unique sound. Their engaging melodies, positive outlook, searching lyricism, sense of humor and willingness to learn makes POFT a joy to see both on and off stage.
Formed in the summer of 2000 as a sort of quasi-experimental side project relief effort. The band now known as Pictures of Then has been in existence since 1995 under various incarnations, aliases and lineups. Although they have undergone several transformations, one thing has remaind the same; they have never stopped writing - amassing a catalog of over 100 songs to date.
Pictures of Then is currently working on their next project with plans to release a long anticipated full length studio album later this year.
