Summary:
After their recent success in the Live Sessions MSN final, where they supported Boy kill Boy. Dry Riser played a debut gig at the Fly on the 25th November
A busy Saturday night was in store for all those present, the Fly is an intimate venue with a great sound for those of you who haven’t been there yet, like the rest of the Barfly venues it serves up excellent music.
It was a busy night with 4 bands playing and Dry Riser took the stage around nine opening with Black Sands in a new set they quickly grabbed the crowds attention and moved through the gears hitting a peak with the new Single Dust, I believe this is to be a self release…….. well worth buying.
I understand from the bands manager some A&R representation was expected from an independent label, whilst it appears they did not turn up I think it be their loss as this band will be signed shortly in my opinion, so if you A&R guys don’t want to miss out best you get down to the Halfmoon Putney on the 18th of January, which is currently the scheduled gig I understand, due to some overseas commitments, for I am sure there will be a battle royal to get these guys on the books soon, you heard it here first!!
So don’t beetle about, fly down there, ant see what’s going down you worms, bee seen at the next live gig from DRY RISER, if you can tune into Radio sunlight this Thursday 7 th December, they are live again on the internet, playing and being interviewed.
