Formed in Watford in 1994 by songwriters Simon Herriott (vocals/ guitars), Gavin Richardson (drums) and Richard Nicholson (bass/ guitars) THE SECRETS quickly became one of the area's best loved alternative rock acts. Joined in 1997 by new bassist Neil Robinson the band spawned three outstanding independent albums, OTHER TIMES, THE SECRETS and the apocalyptic VIOLENT FACES. Self-styled 'power pop in an acid bath' it's bewildering how the likes of Mansun and the BRMC beat them to the big time and whilst the band are currently defunct on the live circuit, there remains talk of future recordings!
