Blending indie pop with late seventies and early 80's sensibilities. A combination of acoustic guitar, twelve string, 5 string bass and manic drumming creates a fundamentally unique sound.
Dark whistful vocals, Marr-esaque guitar lines, foot-stomping bass, and infectious drum beats.
Equally inspired by classic tunesmiths such as The Beatles and The Cure as well as the attitude and angular riffs of more modern bands like Bloc Party.
A Day Remains were formed at Warwick Uni in the early months of 2005, merging diverse musical tastes and influnces ranging from as varied a body of artists as The Smiths through to the likes of Porcupine Tree. Since then the band have been building up a fanbase in the Birmingham and Leamington music scene, recording their material in Brighton.
